Wyrmwood: Road Of The Dead – The Series

Back in 2014, writer-director Klah Roache-Turner unleashed his Australian zombie film ‘Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead‘ which got both a warm reception from genre fans and from us (review). For fans of ‘Wyrmwood’, and zombie fans in general, we have great news. The hit film is getting a spin-off a series. In fact, the official Facebook page for ‘Wyrmwood’ shared an image from the costume test of two of the film’s stars, Bianca Bradley and Jay Gallagher, who will also be appearing in the series. The caption on the image reads: “SO super-awesome to see these two legends in the studio again! The teaser’s gonna be BAAAAADASS!!!” In the comment section it states that the series will deliver “six hours of content instead of another 95-minutes.” While currently being written, the show will reportedly be on “a streaming platform rather than Aussie TV.” That’s a good thing for us here in the states. We will keep you updated. In the

An Interview With Actress Bianca Bradey Of ‘Wyrmwood: Road Of The Dead’

I had the chance to interview actress Bianca Bradey. Bradey’s most recent film was the zombie film ‘Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead’. In the movie, Bradey plays the role of Brooke, a badass heroine that develops the power to control zombies after she receives a series of shots from a deranged scientist after being kidnapped. Bradey does a fantastic job in the movie. Her character comes across as tough, but sexy. You have to see ‘Wyrmwood’ for yourself to truly appreciate her performance. Bradey was kind enough to speak with me and answer a few of my questions. KM “How did you get started in acting?” BB “I always wanted to be an actor. I started acting, singing, and dancing when I was very young. But I never pursued it seriously. I was always so shy when I was little. I never really believed in myself enough I think. But one day I woke up and realized I wasn’t being

There have been a flood of zombie movies released over the past few years, making it hard for one movie to really stand out, but ‘Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead’ does just that. The film stars Jay Gallagher (War Games), Bianca Bradly (This Woman’s World), Damian Dyke,Keith Agius, Berynn Schwerdt, Cain Thompson, Leon Burchill and Sherida Harbridge . ‘Wyrmwood’ follows a man (Gallagher) who had to make the heart-breaking decision to put down his wife and daughter after an asteroid triggers a zombie apocalypse. Along the way Gallagher’s character Barry, teams up with a group of survivors. Barry’s sister Brooke (Bradey), is taken by a military group and handed off to a psychotic doctor who is performing experiments on both zombies and people. After a series of shots, Brooke develops the power to control zombies telepathically. Brooke is as badass as she is beautiful
