Movie Review: ‘Shadow In The Cloud’ Is A Must See Action Filled Flick

Right off to bat in the WWII set Shadow in the Cloud kicks off the action when Chloë Grace Moretz boards a plane of unhappy and misogynistic crew members in this flick filled with insane action. Her character is carrying a top-secret mysterious package the must be kept safe. Unfortunately, the assholes aboard lock her in the turret below the plane, basically a glass bubble with a gun. That’s when all hell breaks loose as she spots a winged creature out for blood and destruction, a gremlin, something that’s long been discussed amongst pilots and airmen and blamed for many plane crashes. Mortez’s Maude is treated like a piece of meat as she silently listens to the conversation over the radio about what the men want to do to her in appalling detail. But she keeps her cool, even as they treat her like a crazy woman who knows nothing. But she’s carrying a secret. She is a total badass

Max Landis Wants To Make A Movie Featuring Horror’s Most Iconic Killers

For years horror fans have been talking about how awesome it would be to see a movie featuring all our favorite genre icons, Freddy, Jason, Michael, ect… Max Landis, son of the legendary An American in Werewolf filmmaker John Landis, has dreamed up a mind-blowing film and recently shared his idea, which has been brewing for the past 6 years, with the Nerdist’s Writers Panel podcast. The basic idea is that a 17-year-old kid in the foster system gets placed with a family living on Elm Street, the family of Glen Lantz (Johnny Depp’s character in the original Nightmare on Elm Street movie. On his first night, he is drugged at dinner and encounters Freddy Krueger. Freddy stalks the kid…pops out…claws to the face…dead instantly. Except he’s not and Freddy can’t get his claws out of the kid’s face. All of a sudden, chains, like the movie Hellraiser, go all around Freddy…pull him up and lock him…like he’s a scarecrow.”

With the film industry determined to remake/reboot every genre film we ever loved (at least that’s how it feels), it seems no classic is off limits. It was just a matter of time before John Landis’ An American Werewolf in London was added to the loooong list of revamped films. We reported back last year that Max Landis, John’s son, is remaking his father’s 1981 classic (at least it is staying in the family). Robert Kirkman and David Albert, the producers of ‘The Walking Dead’ are the source of the idea to do the remake and will produce under their Skybound banner. Max recently spoke with IMDb about the project: I’m gonna write it and I think I’m gonna direct it,” Landis said. “I like the script I wrote, you know?
