Wet Your Appetite With The First Images From Miles Doleac’s ‘The Dinner Party’

Writer-director Miles Doleac (Demons, Hallowed Ground) comes his latest film, The Dinner Party, “a wickedly delish slice of horror that’s part Guto Parente’s The Cannibal Club, part Mother, and all scares!” In the film, currently filming in Hattiesburg, MS, the film centers on a ” budding playwright and his wife attend a dinner party hosted by wealthy, cultural elites, who have promised to bankroll the writer’s latest play to Broadway, but, in fact, have darker designs in mind for the couple.” The Dinner Party stars Bill Sage, Lindsay Anne Williams, Jeremy London, Mike Mayhall, Alli Hart, Ritchie Montgomery, and Doleac, best known for his roles on TV’s “Banshee” and “American Horror Story”. The Dinner Party is this delightfully weird, yet poignant piece of horror satire that presents itself as the twisted love child of “Eyes Wide Shut”, “Mother”, the “American Horror Story” anthology, and “The Rocky Horror Picture Show”. “Doleac says. “It’s unlike anything I’ve directed to date and certainly

Movie Review: Attack of the Southern Fried Zombies is a Gut Muncher Worth Sinking Your Teeth Into!

In order to eliminate the evasive kudzu vine, a team of scientists develop an experimental chemical that has one teeny, tiny drawback…it turns the citizens of Charleston, Mississippi into flesh hungry zombies! Before long a group of young friends find themselves under siege by the hungry hoards at a music festival (more on that in a bit)…a conflict that soon spills over into the streets of the town itself! Attack of the Southern Fried Zombies has some good things going for it; for starters the characters are actually extremely likable (and in some cases completely ridiculous like the guitar totin’ Mayor who is an absolute riot, and Johnny McPhail as Ben who steals every scene he is in), and no matter how over the top the blood, gore, and narrative get (and it does get bonkers A.F.) the protagonists help ground us…it’s a delicate, hard to pull off balance, and this flick does it well. Another heaping helpin’ of accolades
