Disney+ Unveils First Action-Packed Trailer For Marvel’s “Moon Knight”

Disney+ has unveiled the first trailer for their upcoming Marvel series “Moon Knight,” giving us our first look at the incredible action that awaits us. Dune star Oscar Isaac plays the role of Marc Spector, suffering from Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). After dying and being brought back to life by the ancient Egyptian god Khonshu he becomes Moon Knight. To hide his identity he creates the alter ego of high-roller and playboy Steven Grant. He also uses the identity of taxi driver Jake Lockley to obtain information from lower-level contacts. Moon Knight frequently goes head to head with the evil syndicate known as “The Committee” in the comics. Moon Knight was created by Doug Moench and Don Perlin and was introduced in the comic Werewolf by Night #32 in August of 1975, before getting his own comic in the early 80s. Disney+ Unveils New Teaser For The Marvel Series ‘Moon Knight’

Dune star Oscar Isaac becomes Moon Knight in the new teaser for the upcoming MCU/Disney+ series of the same name that features Ethan Hawke as the lead villain. Mohamed Diab (Clash) is both directing along with Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead (Resolution, Spring, V/H/S: Viral, The Endless), as well as serving as showrunner. The Moon Knight character was created by Doug Moench and Don Perlin and was introduced in the comic Werewolf by Night #32 in August of 1975, before getting his own comic in the early 80s. In the comics, Marc Spector is an ex-mercenary and boxer turned superhero, Moon Knight, after dying and being brought back to life by the ancient Egyptian god Khonshu. To hide his identity he creates the alter ego of high-roller and playboy Steven Grant. He also uses the identity of taxi driver Jake Lockley to obtain information from lower-level contacts. Horror Duo Directing Marvel’s New ‘Moon Knight’ Series

Marvel Studios is continuing to expand its Disney Plus library with “Moon Knight,” a new series based on the comic book character created by writer Doug Moench and artist Don Perlin. Get this, the series will be directed by the well-known horror directing duo of Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead who brought us Synchronic, The Endless, and Spring, so don’t be surprised if the show has a horror tinge to it. Mohamed Diab (“Clash”) will also direct with Jeremy Slater of “The Umbrella Academy” serving as showrunner. Marvel has not officially announced the cast, but back in October 2020, Variety reported that Oscar Isaac was in talks to play the role of Marc Spector, whose dissociative identity disorder manifests as different distinct personas. One version of the character in the comic, Spector is also the embodiment of Khonshu, the Egyptian god of the moon. “Moon Knight” is set to begin filming this March in Hungary with a Disney Plus release

Three New Antihero Original Series Coming To Netflix

Netflix is working hard to expand their original programming, and is doing a mighty fine job I might add. With shows like Daredevil and Jessica Jones forming huge fan bases, it’s no surprise that they are adding shows along the same lines, including Punisher. Marvel and Netflix have created a winning partnership and according to sources they’re adding three new series that fans will finding interesting. According to MovieCreedLive and ComicBook.com, their sources have reported that Netflix will be adding live-action series based on Blade, Ghost Rider and Moon Knight to their streaming library. While it hasn’t been confirmed, the information sounds pretty legit. 2007’s Ghost Rider did pretty well, however the 2011 sequel bombed with fans. Moon Knight, the lesser known of the three, has a lot of potential in the right hands. In my opinion, each of the three series could be great. Netflix proved that they could make fantastic streaming series with Daredevil, which has impressed the
