We all assumed that ‘Stranger Things’ would be picked up for a second season. Netflix has just made it official by confirming that the gang will return in 2017 in a teaser trailer that includes the titles for season 2. During a conversation with Entertainment Weekly the series’ writers/directors, Matt and Ross Duffer, revealed a few details of the second season including that the group of characters we love will be back next season. I don’t think we ever thought anthology,” said Ross Duffer. “I think we talked like a larger time jump where the kids are older now and it’s a different decade. That’s something we batted around from the very beginning. But for us, there’s still more story here [in the 1980s], there’s still things that are unresolved.” What about Eleven? Season one left us not knowing if she’s really dead or in hiding. We don’t know about Eleven,” said Ross. “We leave that up in the air.”

Last year Netflix subscribers became borderline-obsessed with the docu-series Making A Murderer. The series explored the the arrest and conviction of Steven Avery. Avery, convicted of murder, still insists that he is innocent. When the series ended people were left wanting more. His arrest came just after his release, serving 18 years wrongfully convicted of rape and attempted murder. People theorize that he was framed for the murder of Teresa Halbach in 2005 as retaliation for a lawsuit totaling $36 million against Manitowoc County, its sheriff, and its district attorney for his wrongful conviction. Today, Netflix announced that there will be a second season of Making A Murderer is in the works. The new episodes will look closer at Avery and his co-defendent, Brendan Dassey and their legal teams who are fighting to over turn the convictions. The toll of the trial and the sentencing of both men and their loved ones will also be examined. The second season will

Netflix is working hard to expand their original programming, and is doing a mighty fine job I might add. With shows like Daredevil and Jessica Jones forming huge fan bases, it’s no surprise that they are adding shows along the same lines, including Punisher. Marvel and Netflix have created a winning partnership and according to sources they’re adding three new series that fans will finding interesting. According to MovieCreedLive and ComicBook.com, their sources have reported that Netflix will be adding live-action series based on Blade, Ghost Rider and Moon Knight to their streaming library. While it hasn’t been confirmed, the information sounds pretty legit. 2007’s Ghost Rider did pretty well, however the 2011 sequel bombed with fans. Moon Knight, the lesser known of the three, has a lot of potential in the right hands. In my opinion, each of the three series could be great. Netflix proved that they could make fantastic streaming series with Daredevil, which has impressed the

The first trailer for season two of Daredevil was released earlier today. In the trailer we finally get a good look at Frank Castle aka Punisher, played by The Walking Dead’s Jon Bernthal (Shane) and he looks totally badass! In season one of Netflix’s original series we followed Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) as he became the masked hero Daredevil. In season two we will watch as Daredevil evolves, Murdock deals with living two lives, lawyer by day – hero by night and conflict between him and his best friend, as well as dealing with the city’s scum. As if his life wasn’t complex enough, he will now have to contend with Frank Castle, who becomes Punisher, a vigilante out to destroy the men who murdered his family and clean up the street of Hell’s Kitchen. Season one was action-packed, intense and completely awesome, by far the best series Netflix has created yet. With Jon Bernthal now part of the cast,
