Netflix has announced the premiere date for Stranger Things, Starring Winona Ryder, as July 15 at 12:01 am. The series, written and directed by Matt and Ross Duffer, the team behind Wayward Pines, as well as serving as Executive Producers along with Shawn Levy and Dan Cohan under the banner of 21 Laps Entertainment. The first season of Stranger Things will consist of eight, one-hour long episodes.
In the series, a young boy vanishes without a trace. As family, friends and the local police search for answers, they are drawn into an extraordinary mystery that involves top secret experiments, terrifying supernatural forces, and one very strange little girl.
Ryder (Beetlejuice) stars along side David Harbour (Suicide Squad, Gaten Mataeazzo (The Blacklist), Caleb McLaughlin (The Lion King on Broadway), Noah Schnapp (Bridge of Spies), Charlie Heaton (Shut In), Natalia Dyer (After Darkness) and Mathew Modine (Weeds).
