We Are Going To Be Seeing A Lot More Of Ash VS Evil Dead

One of the series I look forward to the most every week is Starz’s ‘Ash vs Evil Dead’ and I know I’m not alone. I have to say, it is one of the best series on television. Few people in this world have the charisma that Bruce Campbell, the star of the series, has. Luckily, we are going to be seeing a lot more of ‘Ash vs Evil Dead’, Bruce Campbell and the fantastic cast. Starz has just renewed the series for season 3 and that’s very “groovy”. Now, Ash, Pablo and Kelly have left Jacksonville to return to Ash’s home town where Ruby has gotten herself in

The Grudge Is Getting A New American Sequel

Takashi Shimizu’s 2000 film Ju-On brought Japanese horror to the main stream worldwide and by 2004 we had an American remake. Sam Raimi produced The Grudge, which was followed by two sequels. The Japanese franchise has now reached eight films in total and currently we are waiting on the release of Sadako vs. Kayako (The Ring vs. The Grudge) this June. Now, news has come that a new American sequel to The Grudge franchise is coming our way. So far, details are slim, but the film has been described as a reboot of the franchise but not quite a remake and will tell a new story. I know, that sounds a little confusing. Word is, the new movie will introduce new characters, new locations, new mythology and a new ghost. Writer Jeff Buhler spoke with Dread Central about the new film. “Here’s a piece of news, sort of. I delivered the final script in November and worked really hard to

Sam Raimi’s New Short Horror Film Doubles As A Chevy Commercial

Sam Raimi, the man behind the Evil Dead franchise, has made a new short horror film, sort of, it’s actually a commercial for Chevrolet. The horror inspired commercial will be shown in 2,300 theaters nation wide of the next six months. “We approached the development of the Chevrolet trailer in the same way we would an actual movie – by thinking through the plot, characters and eventual outcome.” Raimi told Ad Week in a statement quoted by Bloody-Distgusting. “I’ve been in plenty of theaters where the audience is so concerned for the safety of the main characters that they call out warnings to save them. That’s what this is based on.” The commercial poses the scenario “What would happen if someone was there to warn you that something bad was about to happen?”. The advertisement ends “With an impressive array of available active safety features, the all new 2016 Chevy Malibu and Chevy Cruze can help you avoid danger.”

Bruce Campbell And Sam Raimi Talk Of Cameos On Ash Vs. Evil Dead

‘Ash vs. Evil Dead’ is approaching it’s premier on STARZ on Halloween. At the New York Comic Con Bruce Campbell and Sam Raimi are already revealing names of the people they dream of making cameos in the series. Campbell told MovieBuzzers “I’d use a lot of them. “I’d get Robert Englund in there, Kane Hodder, all the guys I run into in the green room at these conventions. Shatner, I’d get him, whoever. But I’d like to get a lot of the genre people in. I don’t want to exclude them at all. We used Mimi Rogers in the first season. She’s great, because she’s a legitimate actress, and then we fucked with her.” Raimi seems to be on the same page with Campbell. “Sure, why not. Those guys are really great actors and I thinks fans [would like] seeing them play cameos as long as they’re right for the role. Casting is everything.” ‘Ash vs Evil Dead’ stars Bruce
