Amber Alert Issued For Chucky And Glen (Yes, Really)

Two days ago subscribers of the Texas Alert System got a bit of a shock when they received an alert to be on the lookout for a kidnapper named Chucky and his son Glen. Yes, really. Issued on January 28th, the Amber Alert described Chucky as being a suspect, standing 3inches tall, weighing 16 pounds, wearing overalls, having red hair, and being 28-years-old. Glen, the reported kidnap victim, was described as a 5-year-old weighing 6 pounds, and being 2 feet 3 inches tall. To top it off, the alert also featured photos of the pair with a real number to call to report any sightings. Deadline reports that the Alert System apologized for the mistake. But we are guessing someone probably lost their job over it. The Texas Alert System told television station KENS 5 that the alert “is a result of a test malfunction. We apologize for the confusion this may have caused and are diligently working to ensure

Don Mancini Teases That We Will See Chucky, Tiffany And Glen/Glenda Again

There was one thing missing from Cult of Chucky which was released last month. That’s Chucky and Tiffany’s spawn, Glen/Glenda who we met in Seed of Chucky. It left fans wondering where the little bugger was. Child’s Play creator, writer, and frequent director, Don Mancini was recently interviewed by Mezco. They asked Mancini about Billy Boyd, the voice of Glen/Glenda. The director had a simple but vague response: All I can say is…STAY TUNED!” When they asked about the future of the franchise he stated, “Expect the unexpected. Though not as unexpected as say, Chucky not being in the movie. I’d say you could expect that.” There have already been rumors of another sequel in the works and Mancini’s comments pretty much prove that we’ll see Chucky, Tiffany and Glen/Glenda together again. The response from fans over Cult of Chucky was enough to prove to the film industry that there is still interest in seeing the possessed doll again, and

Don Mancini Drops Hint About Child’s Play 7

Back in 2013 the sixth film in the ‘Child’s Play’ franchise returned to its roots, reminding us of the first ‘Child’s Play’ films. For the past year, we have heard whispers of a seventh film in the works. Today, we finally have an update. Don Mancini, the creator and writer of the franchise, Tweeted a photo of the Glen doll (Chucky and Tiffany’s kid) “doubling for Chucky”. Leading us to wonder if the seventh film will be more in the vain of 1998’s ‘Bride of Chucky’ and 2004’s ‘Seed of Chucky’, which would be just fine with me. I love those movies. Either way, the good news is that film has entered preproduction. We do know that Jennifer Tilly, who co-stared in both ‘Bride of Chucky’ and ‘Seed of Chucky’, will be returning for ‘Child’s Play 7’ along with Fiona Dourif, who starred in ‘Child’s Play 6: Curse Of Chucky’. Dourif is also the daughter of actor Brad Dourif who
