Killer Jeans Are On The Loose In ‘SLAXX’ – Coming To Blu-ray And DVD

RLJE Films has acquired the horror film, SLAXX from Shudder and has set to release it next month on home video. Directed by Elza Kephart (Go in the Wilderness, Graveyard Alive) who co-wrote the film with Patricia Gomez Zlatar (Graveyard Alive), SLAXX stars Romane Denis (Slut in a Good Way), Brett Donahue (“Private Eyes,” “Bad Blood”), Sehar Bhojani (“The Handmaid’s Tale,” “Seth and Ethnicity”), and Stephen Bogaert (American Psycho, It). RLJE Films will release SLAXX on DVD for an SRP of $27.97. In SLAXX, a possessed pair of jeans is brought to life to punish the unscrupulous practices of a trendy clothing company. Shipped to the company’s flagship store, the killer jeans proceed to wreak carnage on staff who are locked in overnight to set up the new collection. Shudder is taking fashion seriously with the horror-comedy Slaxx, about killer designer jeans (yes, really) and we’ve got the new trailer which may make you want to never wear pants again. From the producers of Turbo Kid and director, Elza Kaphert comes the Shudder Original about “A possessed pair of jeans is brought to life to punish the unscrupulous practices of a trendy clothing company. Shipped to the company’s flagship store, Slaxx proceeds to wreak carnage on staff locked in overnight to set up the new collection.” Romane Denis, Brett Donahue, Kenny Wong, Sehar Bhojani, Tianna Nori, and Hanneke Talbot star in this bloody, fun flick. Kaphert co-wrote the film with Patricia Gomez. Movie Review: SLAXX (2020)

Ol’ Libby (Romane Denis) is happier than a clam in pigshit (of course as everyone knows, that is pretty damn happy) to be a new employee of an ultra-swank clothing store that is filled with plenty of those pretentious-ass types we all know and loathe. Anyway, one of those aforementioned asses steals a pair of jeans, puts them on, and before you can say “Ooh la la Sasson” she’s pinched in two by that ghoulish garment… and those putrid pants Hoover-up the red sauce left behind with the quickness! You see those sinister slacks are alive and hellbent on creating some serious employee turnover; and it’s up to Libby and her co-worker Shruti (Sehar Bhojani) to try and appease those terror trousers before the entire staff is devoured! The Duo Behind ‘Turbo Kid’ Unleash Killer Jeans In ‘Slaxx’ (Fantasia Trailer)

Produced by The Horror Collective parent company Entertainment Squad, SLAXX will be making its world premiere at this year’s prestigious Fantasia Film Festival. Ahead of its debut we have the trailer. The film is the latest collaboration between Anne-Marie Gélinas and Shaked Berenson, the duo the 2015 cult hit Turbo Kid. The film about a possessed pair of jeans comes to life and terrorizes the staff of a trendy, vapid clothing boutique, stars Romane Denis (True North), Brett Donahue (Total Recall), Sehar Bhojani (“The Handmaid’s Tale”), Kenny Wong (“Jack Ryan”), Tianna Nori (“Letterkenny”), and Hanneke Talbot (Ready or Not).
