Shudder is taking fashion seriously with the horror-comedy Slaxx, about killer designer jeans (yes, really) and we’ve got the new trailer which may make you want to never wear pants again.
From the producers of Turbo Kid and director, Elza Kaphert comes the Shudder Original about “A possessed pair of jeans is brought to life to punish the unscrupulous practices of a trendy clothing company. Shipped to the company’s flagship store, Slaxx proceeds to wreak carnage on staff locked in overnight to set up the new collection.”
Romane Denis, Brett Donahue, Kenny Wong, Sehar Bhojani, Tianna Nori, and Hanneke Talbot star in this bloody, fun flick. Kaphert co-wrote the film with Patricia Gomez.
Blood Brothers FX, the special effects company behind Turbo Kid, Blood Quantum, and Ravenous, brought the unique titular villain to life, and Canadian sustainable and premium denim brand Naked & Famous designed and manufactured the jeans.
