Supernatural Horror ‘The Stairs’ Is Coming To Theaters For One Night Only

A group of friends embarks on a week-long adventure deep into the woods, but their trip quickly turns into a terrifying fight for survival in The Stairs. “Evil” Renewed For Season 3 By Paramount+

One of our favorite series, “Evil” is currently in the middle of its second season, airing on Paramount+. We’ve now learned via Deadline, that the supernatural series has just been renewed for its third season (Yay!). Starring Katja Herbers, Mike Colter, and Aasif Mandvi, “Evil“ is “a psychological mystery that examines the origins of evil along the dividing line between science and religion. The series focuses on a skeptical female psychologist who joins a priest-in-training and a contractor as they investigate the church’s backlog of unexplained mysteries, including supposed miracles, demonic possessions, and hauntings. Their job is to assess if there is a logical explanation or if something truly supernatural is at work.” Created by Robert King and Michelle King, new episodes of “Evil” airs on Sundays. ‘The Banishing’ Director Turns To Religion For New Horror Film ‘Consecration’

Christopher Smith, whose film The Banishing landed on Shudder this past April, is back with his supernatural horror Consecration, which is being launched at Cannes, Variety reports. “The movie turns on events following the suspicious death of a priest, whose sister goes to the Mount Saviour Convent in Scotland to find out what really happened to her brother. There, she soon uncovers murder, sacrilege, and a disturbing truth about her own shadowy past that brings long-buried trauma to the surface.” Smith, who also directed Creep and Black Death, co-wrote the religious horror alongside Laurie Cook (The Banishing). A24 Unveils Chilling Trailer For ‘Lamb’ Starring Noomi Repace

We first learned about Valdimar Jóhannsson’s supernatural thriller Lamb last year, but things have been petty quiet since, until now. Variety is reporting that a24 has acquired the film ahead of Cannes. Starring Prometheus actress Noomi Repace, “Lamb is the story of a childless couple, María (Rapace) and Ingvar (Hilmir Snaer Gudnason), who are sheep farmers in Iceland. On Christmas Eve they find a newborn who is half-human, half sheep. Longing for a child of their own they decide to keep the lamb-child and raise it as their own regardless of the consequences. This unexpected prospect of a new family brings them much joy before ultimately destroys them.” Hopefully, A24 will announce the release date soon. In the meantime, check out the unsettling trailer.
