Jensen Ackles Returns For “Supernatural” Spin-Off “The Winchesters”

Few series have such a huge, loyal fan base as “Supernatural.” When it ended earlier this year after its 15th season, fans were left heartbroken. If you are one of them, you’ll be happy to hear that The CW is taking us back into that world for the new series “The Winchesters” Before there was Sam and Dean, there was John and Mary. The series will be told from the perspective of Dean (Jensen Ackles), who narrates the show. “The Winchesters” will tell not only the love story of John and Mary but also how they saved the world. Ackles recently had this to say to Deadline: “After Supernatural wrapped its 15th season, we knew it wasn’t over. because like we say in the show, ‘nothing ever really ends, does it?’ When Danneel and I formed Chaos Machine Productions, we knew the first story we wanted to tell was the story of John and Mary Winchester, or rather the Supernatural

DVD Review: Face of the Devil (2014)

A those few precious days before college… not quite an adult, definitely not a child… a time to experience things purely for perhaps the last time… a chance to gather up your pals and go traipsing into a jungle for a little R n’ R, and perhaps a chance to stare into the gaping maw of hell itself, you know, for the fun of it all… So yeah, a gang of friends head down the raging rapids and end up at a hotel located deep within that verdant landscape. Of course this leads to them encountering all manner of odd occurrences that reveal there are supernatural shenanigans afoot, but is it the hotel and jungle that are cursed, or do the simply bring out the darkness that already dwells within? Let’s get the biggest challenge some of you may face with Face of the Devil; while the runtime is brief (around eighty minutes), this is definitely an entry in slow-burn

Blu-ray Review: Baphomet (2021)

Man, ol’ Baphomet knows how to make a mother fuckin’ entrance! We get Satanic ritual, blood drinking, and full frontal nudity before this slice of horror biz even hits the two-minute mark! Speaking of the Big D, we’ll get back to those supernatural shenanigans in a bit, but first let’s start with the “Who, what, when, n’ why?” bag shall we boils n’ ghouls? The Richardson family are all set to celebrate the birth of their first grandchild courtesy of the wonderful womb of their daughter Rebecca (the conveniently named Rebecca Weaver). So that’s cool, and honestly, what could possibly fuck that up? Would you believe real estate? You see, those devil lovin’ high-rollers mentioned earlier want to buy the land the Richardson’s call home sweet home, but they are not keen on selling. The dark bastards take it well though, managing to keep their cool and only causing all manner of putridly paranormal mishaps to befall our heroes. To

Review: Valerie Confections “Supernatural” Themed Chocolates

I recently received the Supernatural: The Complete Series box set (review). When I opened the box I was surprised to find a cold pack inside the big brown box, then I discovered a sweet surprise, Warner Bros. had included a box of “Supernatural” themed chocolates from Valerie Confections. If you knew me, you would know that I have a major sweet tooth. Needless to say, I was thrilled. As I slipped off the gold bow off of the white box and opened the top I discovered brown tissue paper sealed with a logo sticker. Then, I carefully opened it to find the coolest chocolates with a “Supernatural” theme. Of course, I wouldn’t be doing my job if I didn’t taste them all (I love my job). In all, there were eighteen chocolates. There were two types. One type was square and had a crisp, smooth chocolate shell with a flavored chewy toffee inside. The other had a chocolate shell that
