Owners Of The ‘Conjuring’ House Suing Warner Bros. Over Fans

You would think it would be great to live in a house that has been featured in a major movie, but that’s not always the case. The owners of the house where ‘The Conjuring’ was filmed are suing Warner Bros. after a horde of overzealous fans have trespassed on the property. According to the documents obtained by Entertainment Weekly, Gerals Helfrich and Norma Sutcliffe or Harrisville, Rhode Island, are attempting to hold the studio and filmmakers responsible for a “Conjuring-instigated siege of their property.” Since the film was released in July 2013, the couple has faced “threats of physical violence and harm, sleepless nights, and worry that one day, one of the many trespassers will commit an act of destruction, violence, or harm,” the suit alleges. Frances O’Connor Has Joined The Cast Of The Conjuring 2

THR has reported that actress Frances O’Connor has joined the cast and will star along side Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga. O’Conner will be playing the role of the mother in the film. O’Connor has stared in such movie as 2014’s ‘Mercy’, ‘A.I.’ and the series ‘The Missing’. Wilson and Farmiga will be returning to their roles as the famous paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, who carried out many real paranormal and supernatural investigations.’The Conjuring 2′, like the first film, is based on the true experiences of the Warrens. The Endfield incident that ‘The Conjuring 2’ is supposedly based upon took place in the 1970’s in England, when a single mother and her children were plagued by paranormal activity. IMDb has the title listed as ‘The Conjuring 2: The Endfield Poltergeist’ but no synopsis has been listed and the title has not been confirmed. James Wan will be directing ‘The Conjuring 2’. Wan is the director behind some of the most popular horror films of the past decade, including ‘The Conjuring’, ‘Insidious 1 and 2 ‘and ‘Saw’.
