Dwayne Johnson Is Rebooting 2002’s ‘The Scorpion King’

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is teaming up with Universal and Dany Garcia’s Seven Bucks Productions for the reboot of the 2002 movie The Scorpion King in which Johnson played the title role. ‘The Scorpion King’ was my very first role ever on the silver screen and I’m honored and excited to reimagine and deliver this cool mythology to a new generation.” Variety quotes Johnson as saying. In the original, a desert warrior rises up against the evil army that is destroying his homeland. He captures the enemy’s key sorcerer, takes her deep into the desert, and prepares for a final showdown. The Scorpion King served as somewhat of a prequel explaining the backstory of Johnson’s character that appears briefly in The Mummy Returns, which was plagued with terrible CGI. Jason Liles Talks Becoming George For ‘Rampage’ And More In An Interview

Jason Liles, the breakout star of Brad Peyton’s film adaptation of Rampage, was kind enough to answer a few of my questions. Liles and I talked about a few his previous roles in films like Netflix’s Death Note and The Conjuring 2. But it quickly became crystal clear that his role as George, the giant gorilla in Rampage, holds a special place in his heart. Liles stars in Rampage alongside Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. A Wolf Flies In The New ‘Rampage’ Trailer

New Line Cinema’s new trailer for the video game to film adaption of Rampage reveals a flying, mutated wolf (Yeap, a giant flying wolf named Ralph) and a whole lot of destruction. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson stars in the film directed by Brad Peyton who he worked together with on San Andreas. Synopsis And First Image Arrives For RAMPAGE

Production began today in Atlanta on New Line’s adaption of Midway’s video game, ‘Rampage’. Not only has the synopsis been released, the first photo from the set has been unleashed by star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson via his Instagram account. In our story we have three animals (gorilla, crocodile and a wolf) who fall victim to evil genetic editing, rapidly changing every strand of their DNA so they grow, evolve and mutate. Everything becomes amplified.. their size, strength, speed, agility.. and violent aggression. One of the animals infected – a rare Albino gorilla named, George, is my best friend. George, is played by 6’9 @tallie7487, (Jason Liles, pictured here). Jason has been studying gorillas for months now preparing for this motion capture role. We first reported that a film adaption of the video game Rampage a while back, since we’ve told you that Walking Dead star Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Malin Akerman, has joined that cast alongside Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Naomi Harris, Joe Manganiello, Marley Shelton, Jake Lacey, Jack Quaid, Marley Shelton, Matt Gerald, and Breanne Hill. Over the weekend, Johnson gave fans details about his character via his Instagram account, basically confirming the plot leaked online last week. I head up an anti poaching unit out of Rwanda. The Rock, Wrestlemania, and Predator

As I sit on my couch watching Wrestlemania, I saw this news which is both fantastic and sad. Sad because Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will apparently not be at Wrestlemania this year, but the reasoning is fantastic! Yes, news of additions to the cast of Predator are becoming nearly daily news, but this one feels bigger than others. The Rock will be laying the smack down on The Predator! The Brahma Bull joins the previously announced Thomas Jane, Edward James Olmos, Sterling K. Brown, Trevante Rhodes, Boyd Holbrook, Jacob Tremblay, Olivia Munn, Alfie Allen, Yvonne Strahovski, Augusto Aguilera, and Keegan-Michael Key. Is Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson The Next Wolf Man

These days, remakes and reboots are everywhere, especially in the horror genre. Universal Studios has already begun remaking all of their classic monsters films including The Mummy, The Invisible Man, The Bride of Frankenstein, The Creature from the Black Lagoon and The Wolf Man, which will all exist in their new shared universe which began with Dracula Untold. Each film will star some of Hollywood’s biggest names, including Tom Cruise, Angelina Jolie, Johnny Depp and Russell Crowe. Reports have now come that Universal is already eyeing a star for their Wolf Man reboot, scheduled to debut in theaters on March 30, 2018. They have set their sites on none-other than Hollywood all-star Dewayne “The Rock” Johnson to play the lead in the film. It’s still up-in-the-air if they’ll be able to sign Johnson, he’s a busy man with nine projects currently in the works. But I could definitely see him playing a werewolf. The Rock Remaking ‘Big Trouble In Little China’ ?

According to ‘The Wrap’ Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is now in negotiations to both produce and star in a new reboot of the classic horror-comedy ‘Big Trouble In Little China’. Johnson has his sights set on playing the main role of Jack Burton, originally played by Kurt Russell. According to reports Ashley Miller and Zach Stenz, the writing duo who also wrote ‘X-Men: First Class’, will be penning the new version of the script. In the 1986 film, directed by John Carpenter, trucker Jack Burton gets caught in the middle of a supernatural battle in the Chinatown section of San Francisco. Kim Cattrall (Sex and the City) starred as the love interest of Burton (Russell) in this cult classic. Do we need another remake? Personally, I don’t think so. Russell was perfect for his role, let’s face it, classics are called classics for a reason. It just blows my mind. We will keep you posted as the story continues to
