Bunny Rabbit recently sold out its UK debut at FrightFest. Now, this dread-inducing film is reaching a wider audience across the USA, UK, and Australia. Early access is currently available exclusively on the film’s official website. Moreover, wider digital channel releases are coming soon. Fans of slow-burn psychological horror should prepare themselves for a disturbing descent into desperation and hunger.

Surviving the Collapse

The story begins after a massive climate collapse. Meanwhile, a young woman roams ruined, barren Australian landscapes. Previously, she was raised solely on scavenged books and B-movies. Now, she lives alone in a decaying, old shack. Basic food is running out fast everywhere. She begins a horrific psychological descent as she begins to hunt other survivors.

Inspiration from Reality

Real Australian wildfires reportedly inspired director James Branson. Specifically, in late 2019, a dark orange hue descended, and the apocalyptic fires swallowed vast territories and countless homes. As a result, Branson questioned the consequences of real climate disasters. He wondered how humanity would behave under intense stress and how scarce resources alter human morality. Ultimately, he asked who we eat when food vanishes.

Talent Behind the Horror

Taylor Thompson of Sneaky Films proudly produced this movie. Additionally, Kate Wilson makes her feature debut in the film. Alongside her, Saxon Cook and country music star Andy Golledge star. Aemon Barzanji won an award for his striking cinematography.

Sink your teeth into this dark and desperate fight for survival. Bunny Rabbit is now available on digital platforms.
