Sci-fi Ghost Tale ‘The Long Walk’ Gets A New Trailer Ahead Of Release

Director Mattie Do‘s The Long Walk will soon arrive. Ahead of its release, the new trailer has been unveiled for the genre-bending film. In The Long Walk, “An old scavenger living on the fringes of a near-future society exploits a ghostly companion’s ability to traverse time, hoping to prevent his mother’s suffering from a terminal illness.” The film made its World Premiered to great acclaim at the Venice Film Festival in the Giornate degli Autori section and was followed by praise out of the Toronto International Film Festival. IFC Midnight Serves Up The Trailer For ‘A Banquet’

Let the new trailer for the psychodrama A Banquet whet your appetite ahead of the film’s release this February. Following It Sundance World Premiere, ‘Master’ Is Coming To Prime Video

Following its World Premiere at this week’s Sundance Film Festival, Mariama Diallo‘s occult thriller Master is set to arrive on Prime Video this March. The film, which Diallo both wrote and directed, follows “three black women who strive to find their place at the celebrated Ancaster College, an elite university in New England. The school was built on the site of a Salem-era gallows hill and the ghostly legacies of Puritan-era persecution haunt the campus in an increasingly supernatural fashion.” Regina Hall (Girls Trip) stars alongside Zoe Renee (“Black Lightning” ), and Amber Gray (Escape at Dannemora). Tubi Review: ‘Hellblazers’ Is Entertaining As Hell

Tubi’s new original Horror Hellblazers takes us to a tiny remote town. Deep in the woods at dark a cult dances around a fire, led by a shaggy-haired Billy Zane. With a chant, the cult raises a demon and lets it loose to cause chaos and death. The town’s only hope of salvation is their new big city Sheriff, Joe (Ed Marrone), his two deputies (Crash Buist, Paige Sturges), and a trigger happy. ill-tempered old man (Bruce Dern). In the movie, the town must come together to try to survive the demon as well as the cult members who are hellbent on killing them all. There’s a ton of action as the residents of the town use anything they can find as weapons, guns, knives, bats, explosives, and even a chainsaw to fight to survive or they’ll end up on the demon’s menu. Guillermo Del Torro’s ‘Pinocchio’ Comes To Life This Winter

Guillermo del Torro has long had a passion project that is finally coming to life, Pinocchio. The stop-animation film is written, directed, and produced by the brilliant filmmaker who also brought us Pan’s Labyrinth, Hellboy, and The Shape of Water. Based on the classic children’s tale about the puppet who wants to be a “real boy,” the film is co-directed by Mark Gustafson and is likely to be much darker than the movies we’ve seen before about the puppet. The all-star voice cast includes Gregory Mann as Pinocchio, Ewan McGregor as Cricket, and David Bradley as Geppetto. Finn Wolfhard, Academy Award® winner Cate Blanchett, John Turturro, Tim Blake Nelson, Burn Gorman, Ron Perlman, Academy Award® winner Christoph Waltz, and Academy Award® winner Tilda Swinton also lend their voice to the characters in the film. A First Look At The Irish Horror ‘Mandrake’

The first image from the upcoming Irish folk horror Mandrake has been shared by ScreenDaily ahead of its debut and sale at EFM. Mandrake follows a probation officer named Cathy Madden (Deirdre Mullins) who is put to the test when given the task of rehabilitating the notorious killer ‘Bloody’ Mary Laidlaw (Derbhle Crotty) back into society after two decades in jail. The film marks the feature debut of Irish director Lynn Davison and stars young Jude Hill, Deirdre Mullins, Derbhle Crotty, and Paul Kennedy. Marie-Thérèse Mackle and Paul Kennedy are executive producing the film written by Matt Harvey. Mandrake was financed by Northern Ireland Screen and Northern Ireland-based production house Yellowmoon.
