Blu-ray Review: Hanger: 2 Disc Collector’s Edition (2009)

Break out the valium, cuz here comes good ol’ Hanger! Hanger (Nathan Dashwood) is an ultra-deformed, survived back alley abortion raised to adulthood by a lunatic of a homeless mother fucker… though his honest-to-jizzum pappy soon reapers to usher his beloved son back into society… or what passes for it in his world (think a populace comprised of horny huge-breasted women, even huger seafood, and a whole mess of vicious violence)! Anyhow, once back on the scene, Hanger befriends the equally repulsive Russell (Wade Gibb), a real knee-slapper of a mother fucker (seriously, some of this cat’s dialog is absolutely priceless) who’s tastes run towards microwaved puppies and tampon tea (Celestial Seasonings Blend-Masters take note!) What could these lunatics get up to you may ask? Softcore porn and some revenge-based shenanigans mostly… though Hanger has a life goal of eating a baby, so there’s that too… it’s all an absolute, completely rude mess, but what a monstrous mess it is!

Blu-ray Review: A Serbian Film (2010)

Look, most of you lot want nothing to do with A Serbian Film… I know I didn’t ever want to again… but it got sent my way for review from the fine fiends at Unearthed Films and MVD Entertainment, so here we are… The long and short of A Serbian Film goes as follows: ex-porn star Miloš (Srdjan Todorovic) is livin’ the quite life with his wife (Jelena Gavrilovic) and son… though he does return to “the biz” when low on dough. This opens the door for Vukmir (Sergej Trifunovic), a director of questionable motives to enter the scene with his “art film” he wants ol’ Miloš to do his magic in… but this being a film of questionable motives, the film is a sort of snuff film… and that’s the most pleasant aspect of the production…a production that may be the end of Miloš body and soul… Writer/director Srdjan Spasojevic (along with co-writer Aleksandar Radivojevic) go waaaay too far

Watch The NSFW Sneak Peek Of The ‘Serbian Film Documentary’

Back in December, we reported that Unearthed Films was gearing up to release a documentary exploring one of the most controversial films ever made, A Serbian Film. Today, we have a sneak peek of that documentary to share with you. A Serbian Film, unleashed on the world in 2010, has left many traumatized. It remains one of the most unsettling, stomach-turning, brutal, and graphic films to ever see release. The feature film debut of Srđan Spasojević tells the story of a financially struggling porn star (Srdjan ‘Zika’ Todorovic) who agrees to participate in an “art film”, only to discover that he has been drafted into a snuff film with pedophilic and necrophilic themes. A Serbian Documentary is unlike any movie documentary before it. Curated from over 150 hours of behind-the-scenes footage with brand new, never-before-seen interviews with the cast and crew, this documentary is a must-have for any collector and will answer most, if not all of the questions out

Ultra Controversial Film ’29 Needles’ Available For Pre-Order From Unearthed Films

Unearthed Films has announced the latest addition to its “Too Extreme for Mainstream Line” (TEFM) collection, 29 Needles, which is now available on Blu-ray and DVD pre-order, but only 30 copies are available at this time. Exploring such topics as sadism, masochism, and one man’s ready descent into his personal hell, 29 Needles has all of the brutal nastiness you’d expect from a TEFM title, with subversive and beautiful, yet truly disturbing scenes. In the film, Francis (Brooke Berry) uses pain to hold back his inner demons, but when this no longer works, his obsessions for pain and sex lead him into new territory. Scott Philip Goergens, director, gallery owner, and artist had this to say, “My work is meant to challenge. To push the boundaries of what is conventionally comfortable and “normal”. 29 NEEDLES is meant to highlight aspects of the human condition in ways that evoke tones of anxiety, perversion, fear, and the things we do in our

Blu-ray Review: Famine (2011)

Sloppy Secondary high school is staging a 24 hour famine for charity… which is odd since the populace of the putrid place is weird as all fuck; you get sexy teachers, a principal that is definitely a Nazi, and a student body made up of sluts, delinquents, and other assorted odd balls… the place is like a finishing school for future Tromaville residents. Anyway, this isn’t the first time such an event has taken place… but it should have ended there as it turned to shit right quick, and it looks like the latest and greatest version is going to be a complete bloodbath as a crazed serial killer known as the Nailer (dressed as an adorable mascot character) stalks the halls of S.S. high school (real clever movie… ) I’m gonna give it to ya straight; co-writer (along with Jeff O’Brien working from a story by Taylor Nicholson)/director Ryan Nicholson seemingly wanted to give you one thing with Famine,

Blu-ray Review: Nightwish (1989)

Young Donna (Elizabeth Kaitan) finds herself menaced by ghouls… but the whole scenario is in actuality a (as yet unsuccessful) sleep experiment involving the utilization of dreams to predict one’s death run by a college professor (a scene chewing yet still somehow low-key Jack Starrett, who some of you cats n’ creeps may recognize as the director of Cleopatra Jones and the ‘Peter Fonda against vengeful Satanists’ gem Race With the Devil) and four students, of which ol’ Donna is one. Anyhow, the Prof and his charges schlep (courtesy of the van belonging to a completely over-the-top, bongo solo lovin’, psychopathic Brian Thompson) out to a creepy farmhouse where seances were held years prior… and naturally is located in the middle of nowhere, to conduct experiments involving contacting the supernatural. Of course that idea is what one may say is “completely fucking horrible”, and soon our gang are up to their tits in terror trouble including cartoon snakes, a ghost
