Become The Baba Yaga In ‘BLACKTAIL’

Ex Bloober Team members THE PARASITE have announced their first game they’re working on that brings a whole new look of the Slavic legend The Baba Yaga with her origin story in the game BLACKTAIL. In BLACKTAIL, players will be taken into an open-world first-person shooter where they take on the role of Yaga, a young woman cast out of her village for suspicion of witchcraft. Now armed with a bow and powers, she must journey through the world to find missing pieces of her past and unlock keys to her future. The game will also feature tough decision-making options for Yaga where her choices will lead her to become the guardian of the forest or down a twisted path of nightmares and become evil. The Player’s choices will also affect Yaga’s selection of abilities that will change based on her morality. BLACKTAIL will be released for Steam, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.

Evil Lurks Underground In The New Story Trailer For ‘Dark Pictures Anthology: House Of Ashes’

On October 22nd, players will strap up their boots and head to Iraq where terror is not just on the battlefield but under it where winged creatures stalk a group of soldiers who have found themselves trapped underground in an old Sumerian temple where the player’s choices and actions will determine who will make it out alive and who will be dragged into the shadows. Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes will also have an exclusive Pazuzu Edition, which includes the “House of Ashes” game, the Pazuzu Edition box, an exclusive underworld creature figurine (9x9x10cm), a metal pin, exclusive art print, stickers, and access to the pre-order bonus, known as The Curator’s Cut. Frontier Development Announces ‘Jurassic World Evolution 2’

Get ready to go back to the park and see life finding its way, Frontier Development today has announced that their park-building sim game Jurassic World: Evolution is getting a sequel. In Jurassic World Evolution 2, players again take on the role of running and maintaining their own Jurassic World park but this time they’re no longer on the Muertes Archipelago. Players can now have their parks in new biomes such as dense forests, and deserts as each biome will have its own unique challenges. The roster of dinos that players can create has been increased to more than 75 species including fan favorites from the “Jurassic Park/World” films and new highly requested ones such as flying and aquatic dinosaur species. Check Out The New ‘Back 4 Blood’ Gameplay Trailer!

Warner Bro. Games and Turtle Rock Studios released the gameplay trailer for Back 4 Blood at the Summer Game fest Kickoff Live! digital event. Along with the trailer reveal came information about the game’s beta registration. Back 4 Blood Open Beta will begin with an Early Access portion from Aug. 5-9 for those who pre-order the game. Players can also register at Back4Blood.com/Beta for a chance to get into the Early Access portion. The Open Beta will continue from Aug. 12-16 and be available for all players. ‘Far Cry 6’ Gets Release Date

Ubisoft announced today the release date for their upcoming FPS Far Cry 6 along with more information about the characters and mechanics of the game and the potential craziness that awaits players in the fictitious nation of Yaran. Yaran is a country in the Caribbean stuck in time as it’s under the strict control of its dictator Antón Castillo (Giancarlo Esposito). Players take on the role of Dani Rojas, a Yaran military dropout who players can choose to be either a Man or a Woman. Dani joins forces with the guerillas that are hell-bent on bringing Castillo’s reign to an end as his brutality goes out of control. Here players get to help out Clara Garcia, the leader of the guerilla forces known as Libertad, and Juan Cortez, a former KGB spy, and master of guerilla combat. Players will be able to create their own weaponry using the “Resolver” spirit which will aid them in their fight against Castillo’s forces.

This Afternoon CAPCOM held the Resident Evil Showcase that includes new information about their second upcoming first-person entry to the game’s main storyline, Resident Evil Village (RE8). Along with the new trailer comes exciting news! There will be a limited-time Demo available on April 17th for PlayStation players with the demo becoming available for other platforms on May 1st. The popular game mode, The Mercenaries will be making its return! Just like in previous installments of the Mercenaries mode, players play a character and fight through enemies and to survive before time runs out! Creepy Jar has announced at the Future Games Show that their critically acclaimed realistic survival game Green Hell will be finally taking the next big step and come to console! In Green Hell players are dropped into the middle of the Amazon where they have no recollection as to how they got there but their love Mia is missing as well. Players will have to face danger around every corner as they craft tools, make shelter, manage their resources, hunt, care for their wounds, explore, and try to keep their sanity in check.
