No matter how much we dread it the season 6 finale of The Walking Dead is coming. There are a few things I keep hearing over and over. The first is that Negan is “a game changer”, the second, that his introduction is going to go off-the-charts insane. Either way we know that he is going to kill a character we love, and that is going to piss off a lot of people, but that’s okay in the eyes of the man who will be playing Negan, Jeffrey Dean Morgan. In fact, he has already prepared himself to receive a lot of hate mail.

“I don’t know if the fans are going to be ready for it, to be honest with you. When you do what I do for a living, you want to do as many different things as possible and I love the challenge of this character.” Morgan stated about his new role as The Walking Walking Dead’s ultimate villain. “I think it is going to be a great challenge for me as an actor.”

“I am excited and I am ready,” Morgan said about the hate headed his way. “I really can’t wait to kind of step into those shoes, and hold that bat, and do my thing. I am looking forward to it.” ComicBook.com quoted him as saying. “I am fully prepped for hate mail and everything else,” He said. “So bring it on.”

You have to admit, Morgan is already starting to sound like his on screen counterpart. The scary thing is, I think I like it.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan is most memorable for his role as John Winchester, the father of Sam and Dean Winchester on the long running series Supernatural. Morgan has also starred in a long list of films, including: Watchmen, 2012’s The Possession, Red Dawn, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and the series The Good Wife. Personally, I think he will be a great fit as Negan.
