Paul Hyett’s Film ‘Howl’ Promises To Breathe New Life Into The Werewolf Genre

howl 1Special effects master Paul Hyett, known for his work on films such as 2005’s ‘ The Decent’ and ‘Attack the Block’ (2011), is directing a new project titled ‘Howl’. The werewolf film stars ‘Downton Abbey’ actor Ed Speleers, Holly Weston (John Carter), Elliot Cowan (Da Vinci’s Demons), Amit Shah  (Lilyhammer) and Shauna Macdonald, who worked with Hyett on ‘The Decent’.howl 2‘Howl’ follows a group of passengers who find themselves in serious trouble when their train stops deep in the woods. When the train’s conductor exits the train to investigate why it stopped, he doesn’t return, leaving the ticket inspector to manage the crisis alone. Being stranded is the least of their worries. Something is stalking the group from the shadows and it’s hungry.

 

‘Howl’ will arrive in theaters on October 16th and on DVD October 26th via Metrodome International .
