Following the success of his 2015 hit The Witch, director Robert Eggers is preparing to begin production on his new remake of the 1922 vampire classic Nosferatu.
Variety is reporting that Anya Taylor-Joy, who played the lead role in The Witch  and co-starred in Split, is in negotiations to star in the remake that is both written and directed by Eggers.
 

 
The original film, an unofficial adaption of Bram Stoker’s Dracula, centered on vampire Count Orick or Transylvania who sets out buy a house in Germany. and becomes obsessed with the real estate agent’s wife.
