For months it’s been rumored that Sigourney Weaver will be joining the cast of Jason Reitman‘s Ghostbusters. Today, Parade confirmed that Weaver is indeed set to reprise her role as Dana Barrett.

Weaver will be joining her fellow Ghostbuster alums, Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd. “Stranger Things” actor Finn Wolfhard will star alongside Mckenna Grace (Captain Marvel) and Carrie Coon (Widows).
In the film, a “family moves back home to a small town where they learn more about who they are.”
Co-written by Reitman and Gil Kenan, Ghostbusters opens in theaters on July 10, 2020.
