A Return to Five Nights at Freddy’s

The Five Nights at Freddy’s video game adaptation is back with its sequel, hitting theaters on December 5th, 2025. It’s sure to send shivers down your spine after the first film’s box film’s success of nearly $300 million.

For those unfamiliar with the first film’s plot, Blumhouse brings the terrifying world of Five Nights at Freddy’s to life for a blood-curdling cinematic experience. The first movie follows a troubled security guard who takes a job at Freddy Fazbear’s. As his first night unfolds, he quickly realizes surviving his shift won’t be easy.

The star-studded cast included Matthew Lillard, Hutcherson, Piper Rubio, Mary Stuart Masterson, Elizabeth Lail, and Kat Conner Sterling.

M3GAN Still Has the Moves

Get ready for a bone-chilling summer with M3GAN 2.0, the follow-up to the killer doll movie, is slashing its way into theaters on June 27th, 2025.

While production is in its early stages, the news is sure to excite horror fans who witnessed the first film’s sweet chaos. M3GAN, a technologically advanced AI companion, turns from an adorable guardian into a psychopathic protector.

Get ready for another hair-raising chapter in Gemma’s journey as she navigates the treacherous waters of single parenthood and cutting-edge tech. Violet McGraw returns to reprise her role as Cady, the young niece whose vulnerability sparks the chilling events of the first film.

The Black Phone 2 is Calling

The Black Phone 2 has shifted gears from its first release date to a more Halloween-appropriate release on October 17th, 2025.  Scott Derrickson, the director who chilled audiences with The Black Phone, is officially returning to helm its terrifying sequel.

And the news doesn’t stop there. Mason Thames, Madeleine McGraw, Jeremy Davies, and Miguel Mora, all unforgettable faces from the first film, are set to return. Derrickson and C. Robert Cargill will also be back in the producer’s chairs, ensuring a consistent vision of terror.

Insidious Haunts Us Again

The Insidious franchise continues with a sixth installment following the success of The Red Door. Prepare to return to the further reaches of the Further on August 29th, 2025. There is no word yet if Patrick Wilson will return to star or direct.

So, whether you crave familiar frights or something entirely new, 2025 promises to be a year filled with hair-raising horror experiences. Prepare to scream, shriek, and squirm in your seats—it’s going to be a wild ride!
