Todd McFarlane, the genius writer, toy designer, and comic book creator, is bringing back one of his coolest characters, Spawn, for another movie.
In the 1997 movie starring John Leguizamo and Martin Sheen played villains who were out to cause havoc and raise a little Hell . Al Simmons (Michael Jai White) was a cop before he was murdered. After making a deal with the devil, so that he could come back to earth and watch over his wife, he returns as the anti-hero Spawn. Martin Sheen’s character wants to unleash a new plague on the people of the world and it’s up to Spawn to stop him.
Several animated versions have been made since the 1997 live action film. Mr. McFarlane recently announced via Twitter and FaceBook that he is currently working on a new script and his fans, including myself, are very excited! ‘Spawn’ was a great movie back then, but with the technology of today it could be freaking fantastic.
