Simon and his wife Robyn, run into Gordo, an old school mate of Simon’s. After a series of strange gifts and increasingly odd meetings with Gordo the couple decides it’s time to end the new friendship, unfortunately Gordo doesn’t agree. Now a horrible secret, that has been buried for twenty five years, is about to put Simon and Robyn’s relationship and their lives in danger.
Writer/director Joel Eggerton also plays the role of the disturbed stalker, Gordo, in this thriller. Jason Bateman (Horrible Bosses) plays the role of Simon, who is holding on to a dark sceret. The role of Simon’s wife Robyn, is played by ‘Iron Man 3’ actress Rebecca Hall.
‘The Gift’ will arrive in theaters on July 31 of this year.
