Herschell Gordon Lewis, often referred to as “The Godfather of Gore”, made his entrance into the horror genre with his 1963 movie ‘Blood Feast’. After almost fifty three years, ‘Blood Feast’, the first part of a trilogy, is getting a remake. Actor Robert Rusler (A Nightmare on Elm Street 2) announced via his FaceBook page that a remake was in the works.

Very little is known about the remake at this time, except that ‘The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2’ actress Caroline Williams will be co-starring along side Rusler. Two filming locations have also been named, Paris and Munich.
