Vin Diesel’s latest project is titled ‘The Last Witch Hunter’. The movie spans several genres, including horror and fantasy. The secret that witches still among the modern day population eludes most people, but not the witch hunters. Supernatural creatures are bent on unleashing The Black Death on the world, all that stands between the world and disaster is an army of witch hunters. A witch hunter named Kaulder (Vin Diesel) has slayed the Queen Witch, but in the process of the fight she curses Kaulder with immortality, preventing him from joining his wife and daughter in the afterlife. After centuries, Kaulder is the only remaining hunter, which he has spent killing witches. Kaulder has no idea the the Queen has risen and now seeks revenge. She has triggered a battle that will leave the fate of the world in the balance.
Breck Eisner (The Crazies) directed this tale. Cory Goodman and Matt Sazama are the writers behind ‘The Last Witch Hunter’. ‘The Last Witch Hunter’ has an all star cast that includes ‘Game of Thrones’ actress Rose Leslie, Olafur Darri Olafsson (The Deep), Julie Engelbrecht (The Red Barron), Joseph Gilgun (Lockout) and ‘The Lord of the Rings’ star Elijah Wood.
October 23, 2015 ‘The Last Witch Hunter’ will be released in theaters.
