For all you horror fans out there with kids, you may be looking for a way to introduce your little monsters to the classic monsters of horror. Sony pictures’ 2012 animated movie ‘Hotel Transylvania’ is perfect and it’s sequel will be debuting on September 25th in theaters. Both films were written by Robert Smigel and directed by Genndy Tartalovsky. The voice cast for the dark, but fun movies includes Selena Gomez, Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg, Kevin James, Fran Drescher, Steve Buscemi, Molly Shannon, Keegan-Michael Key, David Spade and Mel Brooks.
In the first ‘Hotel Transylvania’ Dracula (Adam Sandler), who owns a monster only hotel, is struggling to over come the fact that his daughter Mavis (Selena Gomez) is all grown up. Dracula fights to keep his daughter away from the human world, but when a backpacking young man discovers the hotel Dracula must find away to keep the monsters from finding out and Mavis from falling in love with boy. To be honest, I’ve seen this movie and I liked it and I plan to see the sequel.
In part two Mavis, her husband and their young son arrive at the hotel for a get together with Dracula. Dracula is hoping that his grandson takes after their monster side of the family and that he will be able to talk his daughter out of moving away. In part two old school and new school goes head to head.
Be sure to gather the little ones and see ‘Hotel Transylvania 2’ when it comes to theaters on September 21st.
