For months sites have been reporting that the new upcoming movie in ‘The Ring’ franchise, titled ‘Rings’, would be a prequel. The director of ‘Rings’, F. Javier Gutierrez, shot down the rumor via a Tweet.
Many of the details of the plot of ‘Rings’ is being kept “hush hush”, but we do know that Samara is back with that disturbing cursed video. We also know many of the names of the film’s cast. Aimee Teegarden, Johnny Galecki, Laura Wiggins, Alex Roe, Zach Roerig, Surely Alvelo, Brandon Larracuente, Dave Blamy, Matilda Anna Ingrid Lutz, Andrea Powell, NM Garcia, P. David Miller, Adam Fristoe, Jill Jane Clements, Andrea Laing and Drew Grey are among those cast in the sequel to 2002’s ‘The Ring’.
‘Rings’ is set to arrive in theaters on November 12th of this year.
