“We believe that great films can be made in Austin TX, independent from any Hollywood influence and that some of the best talent for doing so, lives right here. We believe that a horror movie can still be smart, sexy, scary and (most important of all) original, despite a vast landscape of zombie and slasher knockoffs. We believe that old school makeup and practical effects can still thrill audiences in an industry dominated by big budget CGI movies. We’re passionate about sci-fi/horror that involves crazy creatures with tentacles, teeth, claws, and off the wall concepts, that weave together in a good story. We have fun with these ideas, but take them very seriously, too. We aim to bring together some of the top independent film making talents residing in Austin, TX to demonstrate that (now more than ever) artistry over a big studio budget can make for excellent filmmaking.”
