Joe Hill, son of literary legend Stephen King, is quickly making a name for himself in the horror genre. Last year’s film ‘Horns‘, directed by Alexandre Aja, was based on Hill’s novel by the same name. Movie and TV rights for Hill’s latest novel, ‘The Fireman’, are already being discussed ahead of the book’s April 2016 release.
In ‘The Fireman’ the world has been overtaken by a deadly new virus. Harper is determined to survive long enough to deliver her baby. But when all it takes to start a deadly blaze, she’s going to need the help of a mysterious fireman.
Hill has been busy, his collaboration with his father, ‘In The Tall Grass‘, is getting an adaption for film. The screenplay for ‘In The Tall Grass’ was penned by ‘Cube’ writer-director Vincenzo Natali, who also wrote several episodes of the cannibalistic series ‘Hannibal’. The film has already begun production.
