A disturbing Creepypasta figure, known as Jeff the Killer, is getting his own film. The popular white faced, smiling killer, with no eyelids, is second only to Slender Man on the website. Filmmaker Vitaly Podolyak will be bringing “Jeff the Killer” to life in his film through his independent production company, Purity Films.
Jeff, whose face was burned with acid, hides in his victims’ closet until they’re peacefully asleep, then emerges to murder them. There is some debate about Jeff’s origin story, some say Jeff was first reported in 2008 and has since inspired thousands of memes, stories, artwork and photoshopped images.
‘Jeff the Killer’ will be out sometime in 2016.
