Sitting here at this, what appears to be, abandoned WWII defense plant at 3:30 am. I’m near Hammond Indiana. Just got done talking to Jodi. Wondering if the address in the Peoplenet was wrong.
Only vehicles here.
Not a soul…
Feeling like I just entered the start of every atomic bomb based horror movie ever made. As I’m sitting here contemplating in what horrible manner the radiation is going to deform me or give me a a superpower. I must choose for the good of mankind or destruction of it. Something moved slightly. In the dark ahead of me, on the other side of the warning sign laden gate…
There it is again.
A corner of the eye amount of shifting I think. No it’s nothing…
I hope.
It appears to be just a pile of industrial junk. Pipes, duct pieces, buckets and steel barrels I tell myself, as I strain to see in the darkness. I’ve got to get a photo of this, it looks kinda cool and so spooky, I say to myself, out loud. As I’m leaning forward, just taking the picture…
It’s eyes light up as it’s coming at me like a blur.
