A new limited series, based on Stephen King’s 11/22/63, will be appearing on Hulu. The nine hour series will premier on February 15, 2016.
11/22/63 follows a high school history teacher, Jake Epping (James Franco) as he travels back in time to attempt to prevent the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Jake comes face to face with Lee Harvey Oswald and finally comes to the realization that the past does not want to be changed.
Kevin McDonald directs the first segment of the series, with Stephen King, J.J. Abrams, Bryan Burk and Bridget Carpenter serving as executive producers. The series will star Chris Cooper, Josh Duhamel, T.R. Knight, Cherry Jones, Lucy Fry, Sarah Gadon, Daniel Webber and George MacKay, along side Franco.
