Fox has announced that a new show is in development, based on the book ‘The Demon of Brownsville Road’. The possession thriller, based on a true story, will be titled ‘Haunted’.
‘Haunted’ focuses on a military agent and her boyfriend, a demonologist, who’s on a mission to help rid a family of its deadly demonic infestation. The season will follow the progression of the case.
‘The Demon of Brownsville Road‘ was written by Bob Cranmer and Erica Manfred and published in 2014. The book documents the demonic infestation of Cranmer’s family in their Pittsburgh home. The family experienced a wide range of phenomenon, including a range of physical attacks from the entity, disembodied voices, destruction of religious items, and even the walls bleeding.
