The first trailer for season 3 of Penny Dreadful has just been released and reveals Vanessa and Ethan both in dire situations.
In the season 2 finale we saw Ethan, Vanessa , Sir Malcolm (Timothy Dalton) and Victor (Harry Treadaway) going their separate ways after a show down with the witches. Vanessa (Eva Green) was still battling her demons and Ethan (Josh Hartnett) trying to hide his werewolf side. The trailer does not reveal if they will find their way back to each other. We also witnessed Lily (Billie Piper) and Dorian (Reeve Carney) together with a new fascination, which breaks Victor’s heart.
Penny Dreadful is an incredible series that brings some our favorite classic horror characters together in a shared universe. The series is dark, well written and completely captivating. Be sure not to miss the season 3 premiere on Showtime on May 1st at 9 p.m.
