We have been following the new adaption of Stephen King’s The Dark Tower closely. Today, King himself confirmed that both Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey will indeed star in the film.
After several delays The Dark Tower is now moving ahead and entering production with Nikolaj Arcel directing. Prometheus’s Idris Elba will be starring as Roland Deschain, “The Gunslinger”. McConaughey play the role of the “Man in Black” the film’s villain. The character Tirana will be played by Mad Max: Fury Road actress Abbey Lee.
We will not have to wait long to see The Dark Tower, it is set to premiere in theaters on January 13th, 2017.
