Author Maddie Young (Kate Siegel) lives alone in utter isolation deep in the woods. She lost her hearing as a teenager and retreated from society. But one night her world is shattered when the masked face of a psychotic killer appears in her window. There’s not another living soul for miles, and with no way to call for help it seems Maddie is at the mercy of the killer, but he has underestimated his victim.
Hush co-stars Samantha Sloyan and Michael Trucco. Mike Flanagan (Oculus) directs from the script he co-wrote with John Gallagher Jr. and the film’s star Kate Siegel.
Flanagan’s Hush premiered this weekend at the SXSW Film Festival, but will be available on Netflix come April 8th, 2016.
