The Walking Dead‘s Carol, played by Melissa McBride, is known  for two things, being a complete badass and baking. On last week’s episode Carol made cookies for her neighbors. With the food supply dwindling, she had to improvise, using acorns and beets. If you’re wondering what the cookies tasted like there’s a way to find out. You can make a batch yourself. Here’s the recipe.

1 cup acorn flour (available at natural food stores)

1/3 cup of sugar

1/4 cup beet puree

1 egg

1 teaspoon coconut oil

1 tablespoon orange juice

1/4 teaspoon ginger powder

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/8 teaspoon salt

-Preheat oven to 390 degrees

-Bake 15-17 minutes

-Enjoy while watching The Walking Dead
