Mathyieu Ratthe’s upcoming film The Gracefield Incident takes POV to a new level. The film, which took three years to complete, is seen through a prosthetic eye with a camera embedded inside. Not only did Ratthe direct the film, he wrote, produced and edited it as well. Ratthe stars along side Laurence Dauphinais, Lori Graham, Kimberly Laferrire, Juliet Gosselin, Alex C. Nachi and Victor Andres Turgeon-Trelles.
In The Gracefield Incident Matt, a video game developer, embeds an iPhone camera into his prosthetic eye to secretly record a weekend getaway with friends to a mountaintop cabin. The weekend takes a terrifying turn when a meteorite crashes nearby, forcing everyone to face the darkest nightmare while somehow connecting life, love and lost with a twist of fear.
