In season 2 we will also meet CJ Mitchum (Hounsou), a former teacher and historian with extensive knowledge of the town’s origin. A decision made by Mitchum will affect the lives of everyone in Wayward Pines.
In the first season, we witnessed Ethan (Matt Dillon) wake in the hospital in the strange town of Wayward Pines. We watched as Dillon tried to escape the town, surrounded by huge walls and we learned that the people of the town may be the only humans left on Earth. Outside the walls hungry creatures, decedents of what was once the human race, are waiting. When a group tries to escape the town part of the wall came down, letting the creatures inside.
