Shane West has signed on to co-star along side Leslie Bibb in Sony’s upcoming thriller Z. Writer-director Jonathan Wright’s thriller centers on a couple who gets in over their heads with a serial Killer.
In the film a down-on-their-luck couple risks everything for a chance at a $100,000 reward for the capture of a serial killer. West plays Mick Branson, a blue-collar man, who can’t seem to get ahead in life.
West also stars in WGN’s series Salem, whose third season premieres the week of Halloween. The series follows a coven of witches living in Salem. West will go straight into production on Z as filming wraps on Salem. Production starts in Ottawa this May.
