After years of waiting Zombieland 2 is finally moving forward. Earlier this month we reported that Sony revealed the logo for Zombieland 2 at CinemaCon. Now, news comes that not only is Zombieland 2 still happening, it starts filming this summer in Atlanta. Project Casting has announced the casting process will soon begin for the sequel to the 2009 horror-comedy hit.

The original director, Ruben Fleischer, will be returning for part 2. The script will be penned by Paul Wernick, Rhett Reese (Zombieland, Deadpool) and Dave Callahan from The Expendables.

Not only is the director returning, some of the original cast will be starring in the sequel. Who it will be has not been revealed at this time. We will give an update when we know more.
