Lars Von Trier (Necromaniac I & II) is set to direct the serial killer film The House that Jack Built, originally intended to be a television series, will begin filming in Sweden later this year, followed by filming in Denmark.
The series follows Jack, a serial killer, over a 10-year period as he kills with the intention of “making the perfect piece of art”. Casting is currently underway for the film.
Director Louise Vesth has stated that, “It will be a serial killer movie like you’ve never seen before. He wants to be able to change it between periods of shooting because when we’ll have done the body of the film in the Fall, he will then go edit it and he sees how he can combine the murders.”
Piv Bernth and Peter Aalbaek Jensen will sere as executive producers, with Louise Vesth serving as a producer for Zenthrope Productions.
