Hollywood’s new obsession is remaking every horror movie possible, at least that how it seems. Witchfinder General, based on the 1966 novel by Ronald Bassett of the same name, centers on a young soldier determined to end the evils done by a vicious and greed driven witch hunter.

Nicholas Winding Refn, known for his films Drive and the upcoming film The Neon Demon, will be heading the project. There is no word yet who will be in the director’s chair or who will be cast. But whoever is cast in the role of Matthew Hopkins, Price’s role, has some big shoes to fill.
