TV and movie adaptions of comics are very popular these days. Now, Titan Comics has announced that Jay Gunn’s comic book series Surface Tension has been optioned for TV by  Awesome Media & Entertainment. Little is known at this time about the new TV series.

In Surface Tension 99% of the world’s population have walked into the sea and mutated. The people living on the small island of Breith are the only ones who remain the same. When two people are washed up on the beach of  Breith with their biology completely rearranged the survivors of Breith are thrown into chaos. Are the two the world’s last hope or will they destroy what remains?
