The Shallows has fans hooked and ready to be reeled in by this shark film. A brand new trailer and poster (above) has been unleashed and it might be enough to make you never want to get in the water again. The film, directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and penned by Anthony Jasinski, follows a young woman who must find a way to survive a huge hungry Great White.

Blake Lively stars as Nancy, who is surfing alone on a secluded beach when she is attacked by a Great White and stranded just a short distance from shore. Though she is only 200 yards from her survival, getting there proves the ultimate contest of will. Oscar Jaenada and Sedona Legge co-star in The Shallows, being referred to as “the Jaws of this generation”.
