Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock somewhere, you’ve heard of the hit series ‘Supernatural’. The series follows two brothers, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) Winchester, as they fight monsters and supernatural entities to protect the world. With the help of a rouge angel named Castiel (Misha Collins) and Crowley (Mark Sheppard), the king of Hell, Sam and Dean have saved the world and each other.
‘Supernatural’ has millions of fans around the world. They draw huge crowds at the conventions and are known to be a little silly. One thing some fans might not know is not only are the cast talented a talented group of actors, several are also quite talented musicians, especially Jensen Ackles and Rob Benedict. As if fangirls didn’t have enough reasons to swoon over ‘Supernatural’s’ bad boy, Ackles, he can sing. Lately the cast has begun to perform during ‘Supernatural’ panels at conventions and I must say, I’m impressed.
Here’s a few songs from the ‘Supernatural’ band made of cast members including Ackles, Benedict (Chuck), Richard Speight Jr. (Gabriel), Mark Sheppard (Crowley), Timothy Omundson (Cain), Jason Mann and friends. The last song is sung by the entire cast of SPN including Jeffrey Dean Morgan who plays Sam and Dean’s dad, John Winchester. He also plays Negan on ‘The Walking Dead’.
Who knew the cast were so musically talented? Ackles is incredible during the group’s performance of ‘Tennessee Whiskey’ and Benedict brings it during the cast’s rendition of ‘With a Little Help from My Friends’. Speight Jr. and Omundson do great during ‘The Weight’. At least we know if for some horrible reason ‘Supernatural’ was to end these guys have another career they could fall back on. Who else wants a ‘Supernatural’ band tour?
