Yesterday, ‘The Disappointments Room’ opened in theaters nationwide, from Relativity Media. Another sneak peek clip, titled “Hands”, has been released along with four other videos in the past 24 hours (below).
The psychological thriller stars ‘Underworld’s’ Kate Beckinsale, alongside Mel Raido, Lucas Till and Gerald McRaney. D.J. Caruso (Disturbia) directed from the script penned by Wentworth Miller who stared on the hit series ‘Prison Break’.
In the film, Dana (Beckinsale), David (Raido) and their 5 year-old son move from the city into a once-grand country mansion for a fresh start. But when Dana discovers a secret room in the attic, unexplained events begin to plague the family. Her sanity is tested and the home’s dark past begins to reveal itself. When Dana opens the locked door she unleashes unimaginable horrors. This suspenseful film is based on a true story.
