Michael Crahan, most recognized as “Clown” from the band Slipknot, is gearing up to deliver his bloody, insane, action-filled film to the masses on VOD on November 18th from Magnolia’s Magnet Releasing. The new trailer is here and it’s wild.
The film is based on the adaption of the brutal comic by Chris Burnham and John Casey. Written by Joe Casey, ‘Officer Downe’ is directed by Crahan and produced by Mark Neveldine. Sam Witwer, Lauren Luna Velez and Lindsay Pulsipher co-star.
The film follows a police officer resurrected by science and returned to duty in Los Angeles, played by Kim Coates (Sons of Anarchy). When a rookie officer named Gable is assigned as back up, he discovers there is much more to the titular super-cop than a mindless law enforcement drone warring against a gallery of over-the-top super-villains.
